We're thrilled to share with you our latest review of the top joe updates in 2023 so far. We've made some exciting advancements in our joe technology this year, but these are by far the most impactful that coffee shop owners, baristas, and coffee customers will all have taken notice of. And that's not all, customers can now add a Regular Item, complete with all of their favorite modifiers, and go-to favorite store directly from their my joe page, making reordering even more simple.  We have also recently introduced a new consumer inbox where customers can find their notifications, personalized offers, and more! It's totally awesome! Lastly, for coffee shop partners using the joe Point of Sale, the device customers interact with during checkout prominently showcases your brand and includes additional prompts for a seamless checkout experience.   ## Second, Boss Baristas Our dedicated product team has been working tirelessly throughout 2023 to create a robust and reliable product for your talented baristas. With the fast-paced environment behind the bar, we understand the importance of improved speeds. Which is why we've invested heavily in [web socket development](https://blog.joe.coffee/product/joe-point-of-sale-updates-june). Web sockets are a technology that allows joe to have a more instant connection and response, where requests (such as processing a payment) are exchanged in real-time.
