Stripe 101: Quick Guide

Here Is A Quick Guide About Payments Through Our Partner Stripe

Here’s a quick overview of how Stripe sends funds to your bank account when you receive payments through joe:

How Payouts Work:

When a payment is made through Stripe, the funds are first processed and held briefly before being sent to your bank account. This ensures payments clear successfully and protects against refunds or chargebacks.

Stripe then transfers funds based on your payout schedule:

  • Daily: Funds are sent every business day for payments made a few days prior. This is the typical schedule for Point of Sale partners unless otherwise specified to your Partner Growth Consultant.

  • Weekly: This is the typical schedule for our mobile only partners. The day of your deposits can be modified by your Partner Growth Consultant.

Timing Example:

If your payout speed is T+2 (two business days after a sale) and your schedule is daily, then:

  • A payment made on Monday will reach your bank account on Wednesday

  • Payments made on Tuesday will arrive on Thursday, and so on

  • Weekend or holiday payouts are processed the next business day
