This latest update to the joe Point of Sale includes massive improvements to the Menu and Checkout screens, aimed at providing baristas with an easier to use interface to serve in-person orders.

New flow optimized for barista efficiency
Baristas have a lot to juggle, all while creating the highest quality coffee and customer experience. In an effort to simplify their workflow and make their experience more efficient, joe Point of Sale's new Menu Screen layout and design is optimized for creating in-person orders in only a few quick taps.
In this latest update, baristas can toggle among the different Menu Categories and Subcategories across the top to quickly navigate the menu. So more unnecessary scrolling to find the item!
Item Sizes and Options automatically display when adding an item to the order so baristas can efficiently customize the item to the customers' specification. Configured with a printer, this update now eliminates the need to write lengthy orders on cups or relay information.
This overall more intuitive design eliminates unnecessary additional steps to checkout, opening up precious time for baristas to focus more on customer relations.
Simplified Checkout Flow
The latest update also includes a more efficient and accurate checkout flow for baristas. With this design update, now baristas can view the ticket total, edit items, duplicate or delete them, add a customer name, update pickup instructions, process credit cards or accept cash payments all in one place!
Additionally, this release improves the modal for processing cash transactions to eliminate errors when giving change.
Lastly, to eliminate additional steps from checkout to fulfilling an order, the order is automatically added to the queue in the Order Status Screen after the transaction is complete.
Improving performance and reliability
joe Point of Sale partners will notice drastic improvements to the app's overall speed and performance. In addition, this latest also stabilizes the connection between the joe POS and bluetooth card reader and gives baristas the tools to troubleshoot card reader connection issues.
