On Monday, March 16, we’re rolling out update v3.17.1 and it will impact how POS devices and printers are configured.
What’s Changing
When a POS device is paired, several settings will now be enabled by default. Previously, these were turned off and needed to be manually enabled.
These settings can disabled at any time if they don’t fit your workflow.
New Default Device Settings
The following device features will now be enabled by default:
- Grid Tile Order Management Screen
- Required Active Cash Till
- Automatically Open Cash Drawer
- Side Cart Visibility
- Cashier Mode
- KDS Font Size: Large
- Save Ticket Alert
New Default Printer Tasks
Printers will also automatically have the following tasks enabled:
- End of Night Report Task
- Saved Ticket Printing
- Item Printing
- Gift Card Receipt Printing
