To seamlessly integrate the in-cafe and joe digital experience aligned, we've released two new Point of Sale features that focus on extending the joe loyalty and growth model to the in-person experiences.
New Feature Release: Redeeming joe Rewards In-Person
joe Point of Sale now features the ability for customers to redeem rewards in-person as well as through the joe mobile app. Redeeming rewards in-person is a seamless introduction to loyalty powered by joe, and a great user acquisition tool for point of sale partners.
How customers can redeem rewards in-person:
- At checkout, customers input their loyalty phone number to claim points
- The customer's joe loyalty profile will appear on the checkout screen, including the rewards available for the customer to redeem, and any digital gift card balance
- $1 off any drink
- $3 off any drink
- $6 off any drink
- Baristas can select the reward to apply it to the order, then complete checkout flow as usual.
After their order is complete, joe's automated marketing engine does the work to notify them of their order status, update them on offers, and encourage them to visit your shop more often and with larger ticket averages. All without you doing the work!
New Feature Release: Paying with Digital Gift Cards In-person
joe Point of Sale now features the ability for customers to pay in-person with their digital gift card balance and personal 4-digit pin, whether store-specific or joe network balance, found in their joe wallet.
Additionally, this feature release includes the ability for customers to pay with two forms of payment, and reloading a store-specific digital gift card while in-person.
How customers can pay in-person with their joe digital gift card:
- At checkout, customers input their loyalty phone number to claim points
- The customer's joe loyalty profile, digital gift card balance, and rewards redeemable will appear on the checkout screen, as well as the customer-facing loyalty screen
- The barista will tap Gift Card as the payment method.
- On the customer-facing screen, customers will be prompted to enter a 4-digit pin for security measures, which they can find in the Wallet tab of their joe mobile app
Please also note that in checkout, after adding their loyalty number customers can also reload their digital gift card! Baristas simply tap +Add Funds as pictured below.
