Exciting Autumn Update: New Weekly Bonus Structure to Boost Your Coffee Shop's Success!

As part of our mission to grow the local coffee, we aim to maximize your spend per loyalty customer each month. By analyzing data from the millions of purchases at shops on or network, we have identified a new structure designed to maximize retention, increase purchase frequency, boost AOV, and activate word-of-mouth referrals to your coffee shop. 

What’s Changing

 As a reminder, these challenges can be redeemed weekly for in-person when customers order ahead OR if they have loaded a balance to your loyalty card and order in-person if you're running on the joe POS. 

Summary of changes: 

  1. Double Points Day is Moving from Wednesday to Tuesday

    Our data shows that moving Double Points Day to Tuesday is a game-changer for retention. Why Tuesday? We’ve found that customers have a higher propensity to ramp up orders earlier in the week, especially after many shops are closed on Monday. Starting the week strong with a Tuesday Double Points Day encourages repeat visits and builds a loyal customer base right when it matters most. By shifting the bonus structure to Tuesday, we’re setting you up to keep your regulars coming back and boost sales early in the week.

  2. Introducing “Thirsty Thursday” – A Fun, Engaging Challenge!

    We’re also excited to roll out our new “Thirsty Thursday” challenge! This bonus focuses exclusively on drinks, creating a fun opportunity for you to activate your social media and engage with your customers. From our customer feedback, we know that challenges like this are easier to remember and stay top of mind, especially when they have a catchy theme. Promote your Thursday deals across your channels, get creative with your messaging, and watch as customers respond to this exciting new way to enjoy their favorite beverages.

  3. Launching “Social Saturday” – Encourage Larger Orders and Group Visits

    Saturdays are prime time for social gatherings and group outings, and we’ve seen this reflected in the data. Customers are more likely to order multiple drinks per transaction on Saturdays, with average ticket sizes increasing significantly. To capitalize on this trend, we’re introducing the “Social Saturday” challenge, where customers can earn a bonus for ordering two or more drinks. It’s a fantastic way to encourage group visits, increase order sizes, and boost your weekend sales.
